Tamer is an academic nephrologist at the UCL Division of Medicine. He has been a practicing physician for over 10 years with a strong academic record including completing a PhD in 2019, a prestigious NIHR clinical lectureship, over 30 peer reviewed publications and invited speaker at a number of international conferences.

His expertise is focused upon systemic amyloidosis, autoinflammatory syndromes, monoclonal gammopathies of renal significance and diagnostic techniques including proteomics, alongside involvement in a number of early and late phase clinical trials. He has worked with industry since 2019 as a consultant for both pharmaceutical companies and CRO’s.
